SPEEK

BIOGRAPHY

Eleni Kelakos is fueled by a passion for performing, and a desire to move, motivate and inspire others into being wholly and vibrantly themselves. A dynamic and inspiring communications coach and public speaker, with a performer's flair and skill, Eleni embodies the essence of SPEEK's teachings -- to be passionately present -- whether she is addressing corporate groups, facilitating trainings or working one-on-one with a client in a coaching session.

After facilitating several workshops incorporating sound and music as a means of personal growth and expression, Eleni felt the need for a more intensive, on-one-one approach to help others solve their verbal communications issues; and so, she founded SPEEK-Speaking Powerfully and Effectively, with Eleni Kelakos. Using her vast performing experience, as well as tried and true acting tools and techniques, Eleni helps business leaders make their speeches, presentations, and verbal communications with colleagues and customers, come to vibrant, powerful life.

Eleni completed a double major in Theatre Arts and Semiotics from Brown University, and has worked for over twenty years as a card-carrying, professional actress of the stage and screen with experience in New York City and Los Angeles. She is also a nationally touring singer-songwriter with three acclaimed CDs, (I WILL FLY, TO THE BONE and WHERE I COME FROM), recorded and released on her own label, EEK! Records.

Eleni loves to practice what she preaches and speak to audiences of all sizes. Under the auspices of ELENI SPEAKS (www.elenispeaks.com), Eleni performs her flagship Musical Motivational Keynote program, TOUCH THE SKY! a combination of songs and stories inspiring audience members to celebrate their uniqueness, unleash their potential and develop their authentic voice. Eleni encourages the same in young people, through the components of The Tallest Poppy Program -- a one-woman theatrical show for children with related experiential workshops based on the theme of self-actualization at the heart of her popular song, The Tallest Poppy.
