SPEEK was founded by Eleni Kelakos, a professional actress, singer, songwriter, recording artist, motivational speaker and workshop facilitator with over 25 years of performing experience on stage, on film and on television. After performances, Eleni often talked with audience members, who confided in her about their paralyzing stage fright or lack of public speaking skills. In time, Eleni realized that the array of techniques she had mastered over the years in order to optimally express herself on any stage and in front of any audience, were tools that could be of considerable value to non-actors-especially those whose business it is to interface with the public, give presentations or lead teams of people into action.
